The Ocean Concepts Assistant Instructor course is the first portion of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). You'll not only gain additional experience as an Ocean Concepts Professional but you'll also start learning the PADI System of diver education.

This program of study has a prerequisite of Open Water Scuba Instructor from a recognized certification agency and builds off personal as well as professional level skills. This program is designed to give the dive professional the knowledge and tools necessary to work in the Dive Resort and/or Dive Retail industry effectively.
